When attorneys conduct workplace investigations, the attorney-client privilege may apply. Advocates differ regarding this. Some believe it is essential (for example, to protect privacy rights) while others believe it influences investigators and undermines neutrality. This panel will explore these questions in the context of the ethical obligations that apply.
