OIG partners Vida Thomas and Christina Ro-Connolly join the faculty of the 2023 Association of Workplace Investigators’ Virtual Training Institute for Workplace Investigators. This popular annual program is currently sold out, but there is a wait list available.
The Virtual Institute consists of eight days of training, including 10 hours of small group sessions with experienced faculty, and two days of tests. Students who pass the tests will receive a certificate indicating that they have mastered the materials and will be permitted to place the designation ‘AWI-CH’ after their name.
The program, which includes small group analysis and report writing exercises and small group mock investigations, covers a range of topics essential to the field of workplace investigations, including:

- Planning
- Interviewing
- Law (California)
- Evidence
- Credibility
- Ethics (California)
- Report Writing
- Post-Investigation
