OIG Welcomes Neil Bautista as Attorney Investigator

Oppenheimer Investigations Group LLP (OIG) is pleased to welcome Neil Bautista to the firm as an attorney investigator.

“Clients rely on OIG’s ability to uncover the causes of conflict and to formulate unbiased determinations  in workplaces and schools throughout California. As a leader in our field, we seek to bring on professionals who support the values and expertise that our reputation is built upon,” said OIG Managing Partner Vida Thomas. “Not only does Neil posses the skills required to be a solid attorney investigator, but he also deepens the perspective and insights of our diverse team – a key element for examining modern workplace issues. We’re glad to welcome him to the firm.”

Neil’s practice focuses on conducting neutral workplace investigations. He joins OIG after working at the Continuing Education of the Bar, where he developed, maintained and updated both digital and print content across various practice areas. Prior to becoming an attorney, Neil clerked at the Dolan Law Firm and was involved in matters involving discrimination, retaliation and harassment. He also externed as a clinic counselor at Legal Aid at Work’s Workers’ Rights Clinic, assisting low-income and disenfranchised communities with employment law claims.

Neil is a member of the Association of Workplace Investigators, Filipino Bar Association of Northern California and the Philippine American Bar Association. He earned his B.A. from the University of California, Irvine and his J.D. from University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly University of California, Hastings College of the Law).
