Julia became interested in OIG when she worked on a case with partner Zaneta Seidel. After years of advising corporate clients on hiring, fair employment practices, and performance management, Julia was excited by the idea of approaching investigations as an objective factfinder and getting to examine both sides (or all sides) of every case.

Julia has a B.A. from the University of Texas, Austin, and a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley.
