Oppenheimer Investigations Group is pleased to announce that Managing Partner Amy Oppenheimer has been selected to receive a Fulbright Specialist Program award. As a part of this program, Amy and OIG Partner Vida Thomas will travel to the University of Cape Town in South Africa to conduct a three-day course in workplace investigations with a focus on sexual harassment investigations from May 18-20, 2022. The project aims to exchange knowledge and establish partnerships benefiting participants, institutions, and communities both in the U.S. and overseas through a variety of educational and training activities within the field of law.
As mentioned in the official press release issued by the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, “Recipients of Fulbright Specialist awards are selected on the basis of academic and professional achievement, demonstrated leadership in their field, and their potential to foster long-term cooperation between institutions in the U.S. and abroad.”
